I do have a new release cooking, I’ve just been too unmotivated to finish it.  Low sales numbers and no renters in the market have kept me so.

As we move forward with the new main store and the new market, AeK is also taking another new step; a Earth clothing line.  Too start the new line off, I have released 5 new jean sets ranging from 5-8 colors per set.  As it is their release day, they are all for sale for L$25 each.

To celebrate release day, all designs are available in the main store in Hunters III for L$25!  This sale is for release day only and all designs will be marked to their normal prices tomorrow.  All new designs will be added to vendors and XStreet tomorrow after the sale.

Up for 25L today are a scarf, 3 candle sets (4 one prim candles in each set), and a special winter table that has a texture change tablecloth with 6 textures for the owner to choose.

Also on the doors are a special Peace on Earth wreath that even has twinkling lights!  On the opposite door is a special Midwinter Wreath.

The 25L items will still be up at least through tomorrow morning since I was late in getting them out.

GGWH still going on, current clue in the post below.

First try at data recovery on external hard drive: failed.  Now have to find a place with an actual clean room to do it.

Here is the current clue: Sometimes a flake of snow can fall as gentle as a kiss.

The hunt runs from November 28th to December 13th.  The location of my snowflake will change during the hunt and possibly the prize as well.

I took my external to Best Buy to have their Geek Squad look at it.  The guy took my hard drive into the back to take it apart and check it and finally came back to tell me some good news.  Apparently the case for my external had gone bad, but he said my hard drive was fine.  Good news!  He took me back to computers and helped me find a new case for my drive, so I bought it and headed home.  After getting the hard drive in its new case and reconnecting it to the computer I thought I would try to access my data to make sure everything okay.  When I would try to access the data it seemed as if things were fine but then things seemed to be freezing up.

After a few attempts of trying to access the data, the hard drive once again stopped responding.  It was too late to return to Best Buy, so I figured I would go back the next day.  I ended up napping a bit too much the next day, tired from work and stress.  I wasn’t going any where near a store on Black Friday so I visited the Geek Squad guys again on Saturday.  I had tried a few more times at home to get the hard drive to respond.  I even tried hooking it back into the old case, but had no luck.  The Geek Squad guy took my hard drive in back to give it a look.  he came back out to tell me it didn’t look good as the hard drive wasn’t responding.  He grabbed the new case and decided to give it a try with that.

The end to the story thus far is the Geek Squad guy told me the drive isn’t even spinning up now.  My only option is trying to find someone that does data recovery to see if they can retrieve my data.  This he said would not be an inexpensive option.  I am now looking into finding a data recovery agent in town to inspect the drive and hopefully get the data back.

Why is this important to you?  Because all of my files for the shop were on that drive.  I won’t be making any new clothing until I can get the data back, if I can get it back.

As for updates; I’ve begun talks with my scripting mentor about making the storage items a joint project.  She has helped me so much with the scripts in the past that I thought it best to get her more involved and offer a share of the sales.  Hopefully sometime in the near future we will be putting out an update to the storage items and scripts which will include lag and memory resource reduction, as well as updating all of the scripts to mono.  I do not have an ETA for this change as it may take us a while to go through the scripts and evaluate any and all problems that may exist.

The air is getting a bit nippy outside, but that doesn’t mean fashion has to suffer!
